High-nitrogen liquid culture at 250 mL RTU scale: 1.5g Maltoferm extract + 1.5g Dextrose + 1g Soy Peptone + 0.5g Yeast Extract + 0.1g CaSO4 + 0.125g KH2PO4 + 0.05g MgSO4 in distilled water. Double soy peptone and elevated yeast extract for soil/compost/leaf-litter guild species. CaSO₄ provides calcium and sulfate buffering that mirrors natural soil chemistry. Sterilized at 118.3°C / 15 PSI for 39 minutes (elevation-adjusted, 4,984 ft). Shipped with 30 mm PTFE stir bar, Manifest Card, and QR-linked Digital Birth Certificate.

Species Compatibility
Addresses nitrogen starvation — the primary failure mode for soil-guild species in standard LC media. Double soy peptone + CaSO₄ mineral buffer mirrors soil chemistry. CaSO₄ calcium is a signaling ion in fungal cell wall development; sulfate influences amino acid synthesis. Wine Cap: dramatic response to proper mineral buffering. Beech Mushroom: dense colonization from elevated peptone load.

RELEASE_DATE
Post-hold, zero-growth confirmed
Every unit is held in incubation after sterilization. No unit ships until the hold window closes with zero contamination evidence. Dates are recorded on the Digital Birth Certificate.
Digital Birth Certificate
Every unit ships with a Manifest Card carrying a QR code. Scan to access the thermal integration log, F₀ value, sterilization parameters, and operator sign-off for your batch. Data is immutable once published.
Batch Evidence
Use your shipped Batch ID to open the certificate at /batch/[BATCH-ID].
Validation Links
Altitude Compensation — 4,984 ft
Sterilization parameters compensated for operating altitude. At 4,984 ft, 15 PSI yields 118.3°C — not 121°C. Hold window is product-specific, validated to per-material F₀ targets. Sea-level timing applied at elevation produces inadequate lethality.
Liquid media runs use shorter lethality windows than dense solids. Released only after QA incubation review.
